Exterior Cleaning
Regularly cleaning the exterior of the electric air compressor is a top priority. During operation, the compressor accumulates a significant amount of dust and debris. Failure to clean this promptly not only affects its appearance but can also clog the ventilation holes, hindering heat dissipation. Wipe the machine body with a clean, soft cloth to remove surface dust and grease. For hard-to-clean areas, compressed air can be used for blowing, but care must be taken to avoid damaging the equipment. Pay particular attention to the air inlet and outlet, ensuring they are free of obstructions to guarantee smooth airflow.
Lubricating Oil Check
Lubricating oil plays a crucial role in the normal operation of the electric air compressor. On one hand, it reduces friction between components, minimizing wear; on the other hand, it provides cooling and sealing. Regularly checking the lubricating oil level is essential. Generally, with the equipment stopped, the oil level should be between the upper and lower limits of the oil sight glass. If the oil level is too low, add lubricating oil that meets the equipment's requirements. Simultaneously, pay attention to the quality of the lubricating oil and conduct regular oil quality tests. If the lubricating oil turns black, thickens, or has an unusual odor, it indicates that the lubricating oil has deteriorated and needs to be replaced immediately. When changing the lubricating oil, the oil filter should also be replaced to ensure effective filtration.
Air Filter Maintenance
The air filter is a crucial defense against dust and other impurities entering the air compressor. If the air filter is clogged, it will lead to insufficient air intake, affecting the air compressor's air production efficiency and potentially overloading the motor. Regularly inspect the air filter element. When there is a significant amount of dust on the filter element's surface, it can be removed and blown outwards with compressed air to remove the dust. If the filter element is damaged or the filtration effect is still unsatisfactory after multiple blows, it should be replaced with a new one. The replacement cycle for the filter element generally depends on the operating environment and frequency, typically requiring replacement every few hundred hours or every few months.
