Oil-free air compressors are the preferred choice: The materials used in oil-free air compressors are free of oil, and no lubricating oil is needed during operation. This significantly improves the quality of the discharged air and ensures the safety of the equipment used. Unlike oil-lubricated air compressors, which contain a large number of oil molecules in the discharged air, causing varying degrees of corrosion to the equipment, oil-free, silent air compressors are essential for ensuring air quality. After configuring an air filtration system, the air quality should meet the following international standards.

 

The selection of an air compressor is mainly based on the working pressure and flow rate of the pneumatic system.

 

The working pressure of the air source should be approximately 20% higher than the highest working pressure in the pneumatic system to account for friction losses and local losses in the air supply pipeline. If lower working pressures are required in certain parts of the system, pressure reducing valves can be used. Air compressors are available in low-pressure (0.7~1.0MPa), medium-pressure (1.0~10MPa), high-pressure (10~100MPa), and ultra-high-pressure (above 100MPa) ratings, which can be selected according to actual needs. Common operating pressures are generally 0.7-1.25. First, select the type of air compressor based on its performance requirements.
