1. Air compressors should be installed in a spacious, well-lit location to facilitate operation and maintenance.
2. The relative humidity should be low, dust-free, and the air clean and well-ventilated. Keep away from flammable, explosive, corrosive chemicals, and other harmful or unsafe materials. Avoid proximity to dusty areas.
3. The ambient temperature at the installation site should be above 5 degrees Celsius in winter and below 40 degrees Celsius in summer. Higher ambient temperatures result in higher compressor exhaust temperatures, which can affect compressor performance. Ventilation or cooling devices should be installed if necessary.
4. If the factory environment is poor and dusty, a pre-filter should be installed.
5. Air compressor units should preferably be arranged in a single row within the installation site.
6. Provide adequate access. If possible, install an overhead crane to facilitate maintenance and repair of the air compressor equipment.
7. Provide sufficient maintenance space; there should be at least 70 cm of clearance between the air compressor and the wall.
8. The air compressor should be at least one meter away from the overhead space.
